Did you know I’m a huge zombie movie fanatic? 🧟🤪 Being so busy and involved in so many activities, I forgot how “zombie movies” always kept me mentally grounded, stress free, and focused on my goals. For me, zombie movies must be “fun and entertaining” and not the horrible/disturbing regretful, I can’t believed watched that type. Here are a few examples that make a zombie movie fun ✅ or not 🚫

*******

Do ✅: Trick zombies (especially slow ones) into chasing you into a room and pull a rope across the bottom of the doorway so they stumble and fall, making it easier to smash in their heads lol.  Omg these types of tricks are always hilarious 🤣🤣🤣

Don’t 🚫:  Allow zombies to enter a room full of children and not show them “all” escaping unharmed. Just don’t put children in the movie at all. 🤦🏽‍♂️🤯🤬

*******

Do ✅: Show that a character that sacrificed themselves to save the group, somehow miraculously survived at the end of the movie.

Don’t 🚫:  End the movie on a “major” unresolved cliffhanger like you’re gonna come out with a Part II or Part III and then you never do!  The recent movie release “28 Years Later” should  be entitled “28 People Later and More, Have Died Waiting For This Release” And I just heard they’re going to wait until a real zombie apocalypse to start filming the next one just to save money on production 🤔🤣

*******

Do ✅: Allow the clueless and stupid decision making characters get eaten and transformed first.  You know the ones you’re yelling at through the TV on how they’re being idiots, like they can hear you?!  What a stress reliever to yell, “See you idiot! You got what you deserved for not listening to me!” 🤣🤣🤣

Don’t 🚫:  Let more than three (3) absolutely good people that we got hooked into adoring to get transformed into zombies.  Now the movie has just become depressing, and it’s really no recovery after that. They must fully die or survive.

Now, there is always that one person in the movie that does nothing but complain and complain, and usually they are one of the last to die…but they always die.  However, the main character’s role is to always find a solution for their dark and almost impossible situation.  That’s the hero.  We want to think that we are the hero, but we don’t find out who we truly are and our cast role until that dark situation arises.  So if you’re only focused on the problems, the lack of resources, the other characters, the risks, the danger, and the set, and not solutions, then you’re not focused on the bigger picture 🎥 or your role in it.
